This is a picture of Main Street USA at Disneyland in the early 60's.  Where are all the people!?  A few things from changed since this picture.  How many can you find?

Ariel the little Mermaid from Disney's California Adventure ride.  This was taken with a Nikon D800 with the settings of 1/200, f/2.8, ISO 2000 and with a 70mm lens setting.
On the ride when you get to this scene she is almost close enough to touch (well, maybe not that close, but a lot closer then the Pirates are) so you have to be careful not to zoom in to much.

The Dumbo ride and Fantasyland Skyway

This is from the early 60's and it shows an early version of the Dumbo ride along with a clear view of the Fantasyland Skyway.  Of course, the Skyway was closed and the Dumbo ride was moved and enlarged.
It really is amazing looking at these old pictures of the Park how much things have changed and how little we take those changes for granted.

Monsters Inc ride at Disney's California Adventure with Mike and Sulley

Monsters Inc ride at Disneyland is considered another Dark Ride and with it comes all of the issues that you would normally have in taking pictures in Dark Rides.  The issues are 1) you are moving and what you are taking pictures of are also moving, 2) it is dark in there!, 3) they flood the whole thing with hash lights, in this case it is blue.
The problem is that Sulley is blue and if you take out the hash blue light you also turn Sulley into an Abominable Snowman and he will need to relocate to the Matterhorn.

This picture was taken with a Nikon D600 with the following settings, 1/320, f/1.4, ISO 1600 using a 35mm lens. This shot required a little work in Lightroom. The White Balance had to be adjusted in two different areas, the first was the right side of the picture with Sulley and the area where Mike is. The saturation was also reduced for the entire photograph but it was increased slightly in the area where Mike is. The shadows were also lightened up to bring out some of the detail for the doors that are going by.

Casey Jr. Circus Special running down the track, in the early 60's

Wow, it does not look like it is even in Disneyland.  Casey Jr going around Storybook Land and in the background are some trees.  The biggest change to Disneyland has not been the rides, it has been the landscape.  When the Jungle Cruise first opened it could have been called the Jungle Desert due to the lack of any large trees.
But over the last 60 years the bare spots have filled in and it is hard to imagine the Park without all of the big trees and large bushes.

The Graveyard Digger in the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland

The Graveyard Digger can not believe his eyes.  First off, how in the world did this guy get in here?  He is the only living person in the whole ride.
This was taken with a Nikon D7000 with the following settings, 1/40 sec, f/1.4, ISO 6400 using a 35 mm lens. I did some work in Lightroom.  I would like to be able to get him and his dog at some point.  Always something to look forward to.

This crow is just as you exit the Snow White ride.  As you get out of the vehicle he is staring you down.
Nikon D600, 1/80, f/1.4, ISO 1600 with an 85mm lens.  Nice Bokeh in the background and on him as well, really brings out his eye.
