Fantasyland from the Skyway around 1969

There is a lot to see in the picture, which was taken around 1969. The Chicken of the Sea Pirate ships (for tuna sandwiches) Casey Jr., Storybook Land, Alice and the Skyway.  Another interesting feature is the change in the paint color of the ground at the lower right hand corner of the picture.  Notice that it goes from green to magenta (?) it indicates the change in the "Land" that you are in.  The Green was for Fantasyland and the Magenta was for Tomorrowland.

I am not sure when this picture was taken, sometime before 1971 is about all I can figure out.

This is a picture of Disneyland's Story Book Land from the Skyway in 1957. Of course now there would be the Tea Cups at the bottom left of the picture.

This is a great shot of Gepetto's village in Storybook Land, notice there is no Matterhorn in the background.  This was taken in 1968

Casey Jr. Circus Special running down the track, in the early 60's

Wow, it does not look like it is even in Disneyland.  Casey Jr going around Storybook Land and in the background are some trees.  The biggest change to Disneyland has not been the rides, it has been the landscape.  When the Jungle Cruise first opened it could have been called the Jungle Desert due to the lack of any large trees.
But over the last 60 years the bare spots have filled in and it is hard to imagine the Park without all of the big trees and large bushes.
